Daysync Mobile App 0.9.3 – Release Notes

Our latest update focuses on reliability, performance, and polish across the app. We've squashed many bugs, refined key user flows, and laid the groundwork for more stable authentication and session handling. Thanks to your feedback, we continue to make Daysync better with every release.

✨ What's New

Improved Date Format Preferences:
You can now choose from additional date formats in your preferences, including MM/DD/YYYY and YYYY/MM/DD. These formats now display consistently throughout the app.
File Upload Enhancements:
We've fully updated file uploads on both iOS and Android. You can now upload files from your camera or gallery with improved reliability.
Updated Invite & Visibility Flows:
Tour invite logic and visibility options have been streamlined for easier collaboration and access control.

🔐 Authentication & Session Improvements

Improved handling of token refresh logic for background, foreground, and terminated states
Session data now stores only temporary information in app state (no longer stored locally)
More secure logic for password changes, including detection of reused passwords
Enhanced resend button logic in authentication flows

🛠 Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements

Fixed multiple onboarding bugs, including the welcome back message and focus field issues
Resolved issues with phone number signup and verification
Fixed visibility of icons and deep links in various scenarios
UI fixes throughout the app, including scroll behaviors, avatars, and text capitalization
Error state improvements in empty states and invalid form submissions
Resolved issues in navigation, especially after login and in modal views
Fixed guest pass count handling in requests
Removed unnecessary character limits from the notes field in schedule editing
Resolved deep linking issues related to Drive and profile navigation
Improved loading states across services and fixed reload problems for user data

🧹 Housekeeping & Codebase Enhancements

Refactored how date formats are handled internally
Cleaned up unused options and removed redundant code
Updated internal libraries and caching mechanisms for performance
Numerous small fixes to improve consistency and reduce edge-case errors
